Historical Journal

Kia ora e te whānau, at this stage the Historical Journal is still a work in progress due to the editing of the actual manuscript and of the individual korero provided by some of our kaumatua. I (Julia) have since discovered the editing process is quite a long process and patience has been at the forefront given that we want to be sure the Journal will be a well-documented history of our blocks that we can all be extremely proud of.

The book by all accounts will be a valuable resource especially for future generations and we will certainly look forward to a celebratory launching. 

Call for Photos:

What we are on the lookout for now whanau, are any old photographs you might have that relate to either the big block and or the small block to complete an overall picture of we have come from to today. The photographs will certainly enhance and complete the historical record and documentation of the OS5 blocks.
